There’s something special about experiencing art in the place where it comes to life.
On Saturday, November 28, I invite you to visit Clift House, my home studio and intimate gallery tucked into the wooded hills of Portland, near Hoyt Arboretum and the Wildwood Trail.
Surrounded by towering trees and the changing rhythms of the Pacific Northwest, this is where my ceramic work takes shape. It’s a place for making, experimenting, and discovering new possibilities through clay and fire.
During this open studio, you’re welcome to explore the mini gallery, browse a wide range of finished ceramic works, and get a closer look at my creative process. I’ll be here to answer questions, talk about techniques and materials, and share some of the stories behind the pieces.
You’ll find functional pottery, sculptural vessels, and one-of-a-kind works, each reflecting a different exploration of form, surface, and the natural world. Many pieces will be available for purchase, just in time for holiday gift giving.
More than anything, I hope this gathering offers an opportunity to slow down, connect, and enjoy the experience of art in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
Whether you’re a longtime collector, curious about ceramics, or simply looking for a peaceful outing in the West Hills, I’d love to welcome you.
